Tucker's Dad writes:

I picked Tucker up at the Ohio/Indiana Border around 4:30pm from Susan and her friend Jane.
They went into the Burger King to write in Tucker's CUR journal while I took Tucker for a short walk.

He definitely needs some work on a leash. He is VERY good natured, though. I went in and talked with
Susan and her friend and after a while we went out and took some pictures. The CUR run journal is great -
everyone involved with transporting Tucker wrote in it and how wonderful Tucker is to have.
The photo index was kept up and we will get those developed Tuesday or Wednesday.

A copy of the CUR bandana signed by everyone on the route! Tucker and his new Mom.

Tucker and I got home around 10:00pm. The last 175 miles we were driving in snow, so it slowed us
down a little. We had a bed all ready for him, but we stayed up another hour or so so both he and I could
wind down some.
He slept well all night and is ready to go today! He likes the snow. We have about two inches on the ground.
I plan to take him out a little later and toss the tennis ball around. He has A LOT of energy.

Tucker went to the vet on Monday. He has some skin problems that should
clear up with good food and some special shampoo. He has a cyst on his leg
that needs to come off, but there is no hurry - it isn't bothering him too
much. His upper and lower teeth come together and wear against each other,
but the vet doesn't think braces would help and his teeth are otherwise in good
shape. He's lost some weight recently, but the vet seems to think that living
with his new mom and I will help that (our dogs are not fat! and they get 2 - 3 mile walks
  every day!).

A lot of people were worried about Tucker and a possible "prey drive".
Here Randy (in NY) shows that Tucker likes to take pictures more that he likes cats!
